FAQs for Learners

Browse courses on the home page, click View Details, then click Buy This Course. You'll be taken to the payment page to complete your purchase.
After you submit your payment receipt, our team reviews it within 24 hours. You'll receive confirmation once access is granted. For faster processing, make sure your receipt photo is clear and the transaction reference number is included.
Log in to your account, go to your Profile → My Courses, and click Continue Learning. If your payment was recently approved, it may take a few minutes to appear.
Yes, within 7 days of purchase if you have completed less than 20% of the course. Contact our support team with your payment reference to request a refund. See our full Refund Policy.
Yes! Once you complete 100% of a course, a Get Certificate button appears in your profile. The certificate is yours to download and print.
SkillHub works on any device with a web browser — phone, tablet, or desktop. It's also installable as a PWA (Progressive Web App) for offline access to the shell.

FAQs for Instructors

Register for an account and select Instructor as your role. Your instructor account will be reviewed and approved by our admin team within 24 hours.
Once approved, click the Create Course button in your dashboard. Add your course title, description, price (in USD), category, and lessons (video links, PDFs). Submit the course — it goes to Pending status until an admin reviews and approves it.
SkillHub collects payments from students. You earn 80% of each course sale (20% is the platform fee). Your earnings accumulate in your instructor wallet. When your balance is withdrawable, submit a Withdrawal Request in your profile with your preferred payment method.

  • Processing time: 1–3 business days
Upload your videos to YouTube (unlisted), Google Drive, or Vimeo and paste the link into your lesson. SkillHub embeds them automatically.
The admin will provide a rejection reason. Common reasons: incomplete lessons, unclear pricing, or content policy violations. Fix the issues and resubmit, or contact support.

FAQs for Freelancers

Register with the Freelancer role and complete your profile (skills, hourly rate, portfolio). Your profile goes to admin for approval. Once approved, you appear in the freelancers section on the homepage.
Clients can click Message to chat with you directly, or click Hire which takes them through the payment flow. Once a client pays, you'll receive a hire request in your profile.
SkillHub charges a 12% platform fee on freelance payments. You keep 88% of the agreed rate.
Go to your Profile → Wallet and click Request Withdrawal. Enter your amount, country, payment method, and account details. Admin reviews and sends your payment manually within 1–3 business days.
Go to Profile → My Services and toggle your status between Available and Busy. Clients can see your current availability on your profile card.

All prices on SkillHub are shown in USD ($). Pay using your local mobile money or bank transfer — our accounts accept the equivalent in your local currency.

How to Pay — Step by Step

Select your course or service

Click Buy on the course or Hire on a freelancer's profile.

Choose your payment method

Pick the mobile money or bank transfer option for your country.

Send the payment

Transfer the exact amount to the account number shown. Use your full name as the payment reference.

Upload your receipt

On the payment page, upload a photo of your receipt and enter your transaction/reference number.

Wait for admin verification

Your payment status shows as Pending. Once verified it becomes Approved and access is granted. If there's an issue it shows Rejected with a reason.

Check the rejection reason shown in your payment history. Common issues: wrong amount, unclear receipt photo, or missing reference number. Re-submit or contact support.
Contact support via WhatsApp or Telegram with your transaction reference number. Please do NOT resend the payment — just follow up on the existing one.
No — payments are processed through the SkillHub payment page. WhatsApp is only used for support and backup communication. Do NOT send payment screenshots directly to WhatsApp as they may be missed.

Withdrawal Help

Withdrawals are available for Instructors and Freelancers only. Learner accounts do not have a wallet.

How to Request a Withdrawal

Go to Profile → Wallet

Check your withdrawable balance (approved earnings that are ready to withdraw).

Click "Request Withdrawal"

Enter the amount in USD, select your country and payment method, then enter your account details.

Submit the request

Admin reviews your request within 1–2 business days and sends the payment manually.

Course Access Help

Your payment may still be under review (up to 24 hours). Check your Payment History tab in your profile to see the status. If it shows Approved but you still can't access the course, contact support.
Videos are hosted on YouTube, Google Drive, or Vimeo. Try:
  • Refreshing the page
  • Switching to a different browser
  • Checking your internet connection
  • Disabling browser extensions that might block iframes
PDF materials attached to lessons can be downloaded via the link in the lesson. Videos cannot be downloaded directly from SkillHub.
Yes — once your payment is verified, you have lifetime access to the course content as long as your account is active.

Certificate Help

Complete 100% of a course. Then go to Profile → My Courses and click Get Certificate next to the completed course.
On the certificate page, click Download / Print Certificate. This opens your browser's print dialog — choose Save as PDF to download a digital copy.
SkillHub certificates are platform-issued completion certificates. They are not government-accredited but serve as proof of skill development and course completion.
Make sure you have reached 100% course progress. If progress isn't updating, go through each lesson and mark it complete. Contact support if the issue persists.
