Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SkillHub ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users including learners, instructors, freelancers, and visitors.

2. User Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• SkillHub reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts.

3. Course Content & Instructors

• Instructors are responsible for the accuracy and quality of their course content.
• All courses must be reviewed and approved by SkillHub admin before publishing.
• Instructors must not upload content that infringes on copyright or intellectual property rights.
• SkillHub takes a 20% platform fee on all course sales. Instructors receive 80%.
• SkillHub reserves the right to remove any course that violates our content policies.

4. Freelancer Services

• Freelancers must provide accurate information about their skills and experience.
• SkillHub takes a 12% platform fee on all freelance transactions.
• Freelancers are independent contractors, not employees of SkillHub.
• Disputes between clients and freelancers should first be resolved directly. SkillHub may mediate if needed.

5. Payments

• All payments are processed manually via mobile money (Telebirr, MTN, CBE, etc.).
• Payment confirmation requires sending a screenshot to our WhatsApp.
• Access is granted within 24 hours of payment confirmation.
• SkillHub is not responsible for failed transfers due to incorrect payment details provided by the user.

6. Prohibited Conduct

• Sharing account credentials with others.
• Uploading harmful, offensive, or illegal content.
• Attempting to hack, scrape, or disrupt the platform.
• Misrepresenting your identity or qualifications.
• Using the platform for spam or unsolicited communications.

7. Limitation of Liability

SkillHub is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to SkillHub in the past 3 months.

8. Changes to Terms

SkillHub reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via WhatsApp or email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
